Noel J. Pitner

Noel J. Pitner, owner of Pitner Law, has been an attorney since 2005 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Gonzaga University School of Law. Before opening Pitner Law, Noel served as a principal shareholder/partner in a large Spokane firm where his primary areas of practice focused on bankruptcy, criminal law, civil litigation, business and commercial litigation, and family law. Noel has now brought his experience and knowledge in these areas to Pitner Law.

Noel is admitted to practice in all courts in Washington and Idaho with extensive appearances in the U.S. Bankruptcy and federal U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Washington, Western District of Washington, and the District of Idaho, as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Washington and Idaho State Bar Associations, as well as the Spokane County and Kootenai County Bar Associations. He is a current member of the Washington State Bar Debtor/Creditor and Banking and Commercial Law sections as well as the Federal Bar and bankruptcy sections of both Washington and Idaho. Noel has also served on the Washington State Bar Examiners Committee and on the Washington State Bar Debtor/Creditor Executive Committee.

In addition, Noel has served as a Mock Trial coach and adjunct professor at Eastern Washington University and an adjunct professor of Legal Research and Writing at Gonzaga University School of Law. In the "non-legal" realm, most of his spare time is consumed with raising his six children but he also enjoys coaching football for the Spokane Valley Pop Warner Association and coaching YMCA youth basketball. Noel also served as the Director of Recreation and the Judiciary Chairman on the Board of Directors for the Spokane Valley Junior Soccer Association. If any time remains, he loves to play football and basketball, snow ski, and white water raft.
